The Context:
Developed as an entry for a Volvo Design Challenge, this project explores a future-facing vehicle concept aimed at modernizing the brand’s iconic aesthetic while competing at a high industry standard.
Design Approach:
Rooted in the Scandinavian tradition of minimalism, the foundational ideation focused on stripping the vehicle down to its essential geometry. By deliberately avoiding aggressive, sharp edges in favor of clean, uninterrupted volumes, the resulting form language is inherently protective, grounded, and approachable—key tenets of the Volvo identity.
